Guadalupe Estate, Inc. (GEI) is one of the oldest real estate developers in the Philippines founded in mid-1938 by Ar. Manuel Manosa Jr. together with the Augustinian brothers.

They began the real estate business in Makati where it collaborates with the City Government and industry experts in a successful development that yielded social and affordable residential lots wherein overtime it has turned into a highly urbanized barangay in Makati namely, the Guadalupe Nuevo & Guadalupe Viejo. It was a fitting start for the company whose inspirational credo is to Build Communities and give shelter for the masses for God’s Glory. In the recent past, it is this creed that inspired the company to continue and undertake housing developments projects in Caloocan, Bacolod and Iloilo.

Today, GEI is now managed by the third-generation offspring of the original proponents and has now entered vertical development and leasing business operations. In partnership with Taft Properties Venture Development Corp. (TPVDC), GEI’s latest project is a 7-Storey Residential development located on Quirino Highway, Brgy. 183 Caloocan City, known as “AGUADA RESIDENCES” launched in first quarter of 2024. This is the first among other vertical developments that are in GEI’s pipeline projects.

Where tradition lives on

Guadalupe Estates or GEI was founded some 84 years ago in 1937 (before the war). It was a group of middle-aged men who got together with the Order of St. Agustine to develop the religious orders land. One is Ar. Manuel Mañosa, was a seminarian in his younger years and with the Agustinians they organized the company, and called it Guadalupe Estates, Inc.

Their first venture is the 50-hectare land located on the outskirts of the city, then called Hacienda de Guadalupe, in San Pedro de Makati, Province of Rizal. Today that originally developed land is called Guadalupe Viejo and Nuevo, beside the Pasig River.
